Key Objectives
The principal function of this position is to:
• Undertake and be responsible for the structural design of buildings or elements of buildings.
• Manage of junior project managers, engineers and technicians.
• Assist in the development of other staff within the team.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge.
• Experience of the design of building structures in steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Experience in designing to current British Standards using manual calculations and also computer analysis and design programmes
• Ability to perform assignments independently with supervision and guidance required only for overall objectives, critical issues and new concepts. |
