My client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy currently operating in Dubai.
Owing to a rapidly increasing workload they are seeking to expand their Building Services team with skilled Electrical Engineers from Intermediate level up to Associate.
The responsibilities of the role include;
• Undertake detailed engineering design
• Prepare technical schedules
• Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work
• Work closely with and monitor performance of Technician (as appropriate)
• Under guidance of senior staff, represent the company at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
• Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
• Ensure that appropriate service/design decisions are met.
• Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
• Coordinating his/her work with other members of the project team.
Actively work towards Chartered Engineering status.
• Mentor and assist Graduate Engineers
• Commitment to CPD and self learning / development.
The successful candidate will have a;
• Bachelors degree (BEng) in Engineering plus a minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience (typically 3 years')
Or
• Masters degree (MEng) in Engineering plus a minimum of 1 years' work experience (typically 2 years')
Or
• Degree in Engineering that meets the engineering academic requirements for chartered engineer plus 3 years relevant work experience.
